What to Expect

Many of our guests have commented on the friendliness and accepting attitude of our congregation. We invite you to come and help us continue to be known as the friendliest church in Sun City.

Our church is deeply rooted in God's Word, and we welcome all who are looking for a place to worship. Our pastors are committed to biblical preaching and teaching.

​

We are a Southern Baptist Church and as such we are deeply committed to evangelism and missions.

​

At First Baptist Sun City you will find a traditional worship experience.  Many churches are moving to contemporary and modern worship music. We occasionally use a contemporary song when it best meets the need of a particular service, but for the most part we sing the old hymns that many us have grown to love. God has blessed us with fantastic, talented musicians who are highly skilled on the piano and organ.

At First Baptist you can find faith, family and friends.

Since we are located in a senior adult community we are primarily a senior adult church . One of the things that you might be glad to see is that we do have children in our church and that families are welcome.  We desire to minister to everyone that the Lord sends our way.

 We want to help you live today and throughout eternity in a close personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We also want to help you to discover what the Bible says about whatever problems you are dealing with. Our sermons and Bible studies are centered in the Word of God and offer practical applications for our lives
